What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile accounts in preparation for audit
- Reconcile payroll and extract detailed reports from the payroll system
- Assist with month-end close and other general accounting functions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller
Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Prior experience in non-profit accounting is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and bustling environment
