STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
$45,000-$55,000
Are you looking for a well-rounded accounting role with a focus on accounts payable? Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team! This role offers a blend of responsibilities, with 50% focused on accounts payable and the rest covering general accounting functions.
OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Process and manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance matters
- Work closely with the accounting team to improve processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, with strong accounts payable skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
