OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE ROLE:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws to provide innovative and accurate solutions.
- Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior tax staff, fostering their professional development.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and address inquiries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or progress towards completion is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
