Staff Accountant

Notable organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with accounting operations during a scheduled Leave of Absence. Salary is $60-$75k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• The Staff Accountant will process expenses, generate receivables, and reconcile the general ledger for multiple departments
• The Staff Accountant will allocate grant expenditures by department to their correct source
• Perform ongoing reconciliations of grants and accounts, manage accruals, and post entries to ensure accuracy
• Support month-end close, financial statement prep, and reporting, as required

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• Must have strong Staff Accounting experience and/or degree (preferred)
• Ability to manage expenses and grant allocations to several general ledgers
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and advanced Excel acumen
