FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for accounts payable:
  • entering vender invoices
  • review accuracy within in the general ledger
  • confirm invoice signature authorizations for payment
  • invoice payment submittals
• Process payroll
  • track paid time off
  • maintenance of payroll reconciliations database
• This person is responsible for working closely with and overseeing payroll within the Paychex payroll platform
• Responsible for functions under Accounts Receivable
  • maintaining AR's from outside vendors and intercompany affiliates
• Administer the submission of 401k payments to 401k plan provider
• Work with auditors and annually provide correct reports
• Responsible for additional responsibilities as needed within the department and perform special projects when asked

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Payroll preferred
• Accounting/Finance degree preferred
• Experience in non-profit a plus
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills
