About the Company and Opportunity- Accounts Receivable Analyst
CFS, NY is working with a large apparel firm seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. This organization is well-established and handles global distributions. They offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits and the opportunity for upward movement in the organization. This role is located in Dayton, New Jersey (parking lot on site)
Role Responsibilities include- Accounts Receivable Analyst
- Review retailer deductions, credits, payments and invoice information and reconcile open items
- Obtain supporting documentation and accurately update division and type/reason codes for proper representation of receivables in the general ledger
- Collect outstanding invoices and unauthorized or excessive deductions
- Properly assign deductions for accurate recording in the reserve accounts on the general ledger.
- Negotiate exemptions with retailers
- Interpret shipping documents (POD for terms/reconciliation of liability for missing goods)
Preferred Experience - Accounts Receivable Analyst
- 3+ years of AR/related experience
- Proficient in excel
- High volume chargeback experience
- Big box store experience is a plus
- BA Degree is a plus
