Accounts Payable Clerk | On-Site in Springfield

CFS is working with a well-established nonprofit in Springfield that’s looking to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to their growing finance team. This role is open due to a recent departure, and the team is looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Process ~100 invoices per week across 5 states

• Code invoices correctly by department and enter them into the system

• Manage weekly check runs, filing, and support for employee reimbursements and mileage

• Work closely with the existing AP/AR team, reporting to the department head

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous AP experience is preferred

• Strong attention to detail is a must

• Familiarity with Financial Edge (Blackbaud) is a plus

• Team player who thrives in a supportive, busy department

• Basic Excel skills are perfectly fine
