Accountant
Location: Brighton, MA
$85,000 - $115,000
Job Description:
CFS has partnered with a real estate/construction organization located in Brighton to hire a full time Accountant. This is an in-office role M-F and reports to the President of the organization with a dotted line to the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Track commercial / residential tenant rents in AppFolio and QuickBooks. Maintain records and reports.
- Track security deposits and return as necessary
- Track all invoices for payment (personal, properties, condo fees) prepare all checks for signature.
- Create and maintain files pertaining to trusts, properties, leases etc.
- Enter all trust accounts payable and receivable in ERP System.
- Monthly balancing of trust account bank statements, reconciling statements within ERP System and preparation of reports for President’s review.
- Log weekly expenditure on credit cards
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications of the Accountant
- Excellent bookkeeping/accounting skills, ideally coming from an organization with fewer than 50 employees
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow up
- Comfort with MS Office suite and QuickBooks; preference will be give to candidates experienced in Sage 300/Timberline
