We have been retained by a global leader in the healthcare space. The organization is a mid-sized manufacturer and distributor of oral care products and solutions and is seeking a Cost/Plant Controller to over see the accounting and cost activities for a central plant location

$105,000 to $115,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do as a Cost/Plant Controller:

• Assist with plant financial reporting and analysis: standard costs, capital projects, cost savings programs, month-end closings, working capital management and other related initiatives / activities.
• Monitor manufacturing financial performance by analyzing results and initiating corrective actions to eliminate unfavorable plant manufacturing variances.
• The Cost/Plant Controller will report financial status at the corporate level via consolidated forecasts, results reporting, and variance analyses
• Assist in cost valuation of products in inventory for accuracy by reviewing Bill of Materials (BOMs), labor, routings and material purchases.
• Analyze capital expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
• The Cost/Plant Controller will review daily audit reports of changes to product structure, routing, and PO prices.
• Estimate costs of new products and proposed changes to existing products.
• The Cost/Plant Controller will perform KPI preparation and analysis.
• Cost standard development for material, labor and overhead.
• Distribute annual transfer prices to all the foreign divisions.
• Work with the annual auditors to complete all audit work in cost and inventory.
• Assist with conducting year-end inventory.
