STAFF PROJECT ACCOUNTANTABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading service organization in the Chicago land market; they are looking to add a Staff Project Accountant. With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. - Compensation range: $70,000-$90,000
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
- The Senior Project Accountant will assist with communicating with subcontractors.
- Assist with AR and AP
- Assist with AIA billing and lien waivers
- Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
- Prorate expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
- Prepare periodic reports.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE STAFF PROJECT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Construction experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 6 months of relevant experience
