Controller Position
Chicago based real estate investment company in existence for a long time period has a newly created opportunity for a Controller. This person will have full responsibility to build, lead, and set the direction of the accounting function. The position reports directly to the President of the company.

Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Manage all of accounting, treasury, HR, etc.
- Lead month-end close, analyze performance, compile financial statements, assist with acquisitions
- The Controller will develop accounting policies, implement systems, and process improvements
- Build and oversee an accounting team of 4-5 people
Qualifications for the Controller:
- 7+ years of Accounting experience
- Real estate, manufacturing, or construction experience is a plus
- B.A. in Accounting or Finance
- SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar systems
- Excellent presentation skills
