Payroll Specialist Opportunity Overview:
As the Payroll Specialist, you will lead the payroll function for up to 1000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role involves managing both union and non-union payroll processes, providing leadership and support to your team, and handling payroll adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for up to 700 employees
• Manage and process both union and non-union payroll
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to company policies
• Process payroll adjustments and corrections in a timely manner
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related inquiries
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a payroll team, ensuring smooth operations
• Ensure the timely submission of payroll taxes, benefits, and other related filings

Preferred Background for the Payroll Specialist:

• Proven ability to manage payroll for a sizable workforce
• Leadership experience managing or overseeing a team
• Expertise in ADP payroll systems
• Experience with union payroll is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail, with a deep understanding of payroll compliance and tax laws
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting both payroll processing and team development
