Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Accounting & Financial Oversight: Supervise the full spectrum of AP, AR, and billing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor bank accounts, cash flow, and perform reconciliations to support healthy financial operations

• Tax Compliance: Oversee general sales and use tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

• Audit Coordination: Lead the annual external audit process and liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth review

• Month-End Close: Manage journal entries, reconcile accounts, and conduct general ledger reviews to support timely monthly closings

• Strategic Financial Analysis: Prepare and interpret financial reports to inform leadership decisions and future financial planning

Qualifications We Seek in a Controller:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA preferred

• Certification: CPA is a strong plus

• Experience: 3+ years of accounting and financial leadership experience

• Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

• Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and lead a team effectively
