We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of a fast-paced and growing distribution and service company based in Metro Atlanta. As our Accounting Manager, you’ll guide a talented accounting team while ensuring compliance with GAAP and B2B financial standards. You'll be instrumental in improving processes, implementing controls, and delivering actionable financial insights that support the company’s continued expansion.

What You’ll Do as an Accounting Manager:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, promoting continuous growth and excellence

• Manage core financial functions including general ledger oversight, A/P, A/R, payroll, inventory accounting, budgeting, and reconciliations

• Ensure all financial practices comply with GAAP standards and B2B accounting principles

• Deliver timely and insightful financial reports to senior leadership to aid in strategic planning

• Strengthen internal controls to protect company assets and reduce financial risk

• Evaluate ERP systems and recommend improvements to streamline accounting operations

• Collaborate with other departments, offering financial guidance to support broader business goals

• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of accounting team members

What We’re Looking for in an Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA is a plus)

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory accounting role

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, B2B financial reporting, and regulatory compliance

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills

• Strong leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring and developing team members
