Payroll Specialist – Manufacturing

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Company Overview: A manufacturing company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Job Overview: The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of payroll best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Manage payroll taxes, deductions, and benefit contributions

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare payroll reports

• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions

• Assist HR and Finance teams with payroll budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of payroll software and multi-state payroll processing

• Strong understanding of tax compliance and labor laws

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
