AP Specialist

Our client is a national industry leader with a significant footprint across the United States. With hundreds of locations nationwide and rapid expansion through strategic acquisitions, they're experiencing exciting growth momentum! They've partnered with CFS to identify an AP Specialist to support their continued expansion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the new account creation for all major vendors for newly acquired locations
• Train new Site Managers in all accounts payable systems and manage the reconciliation process as the new location transitions all payables to Corporate HQ while assisting with closing accounts under the previous ownership
• Oversee the transition of all utility and telecom vendors to our corporate ownership
• Work alongside other departments to assist newly acquired locations to ensure the transition process runs smoothly (Operations, Payroll, IT, Accounting, Legal)
• Assist Accounts Payable Team with invoice processing/miscellaneous projects

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Support continuous improvement and actively identify opportunities for streamlining and increased efficiency throughout all areas
• Strong problem solving, detailed-oriented, and excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills and general Microsoft Office experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
