Benefits Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is working with a client in need of a Benefits Specialist to join their HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical and human side of benefits—supporting employees while ensuring compliance and process accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k)

• Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, eligibility, and enrollment

• Coordinate open enrollment and assist with annual renewals

• Maintain benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)

• Partner with insurance carriers and brokers to resolve claims or billing issues

• Prepare reports and assist with audits as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration

• Strong knowledge of benefit plans and related regulations

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
