Senior Staff Accountant – Hartford County
Our client, a well-established engineering company, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on more responsibility and contribute to a dynamic finance department.
Compensation: $33-36/hour
Location: Hartford County - near Hartford, CT

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Assist with audits and tax compliance
Qualifications of the Senior Staff Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

CPA or CPA track preferred
