Accounting Assistant

We’re working with a client looking for an Accounting Assistant to help keep their financial operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports

Reconcile bank statements and help with month-end close activities

Maintain and update accounting records and databases

Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing and document management

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and financial analysis

Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal teams

Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
Ideal Candidate:
-
1+ year of experience in an accounting or administrative role
-
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
-
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
-
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
