Job Description:
Position Overview: Staff Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is open due to a recent promotion within the department.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead close process, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR functions and monitor cash flow.

Audit & Compliance: Support audits, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Budgeting/Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts; monitor performance.

Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Team Leadership: Mentor junior accountants and review their work.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).

3-7 years of accounting experience,

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
