Duties of the Accounting Manager:
As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the finance operations. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting across several companies, mentor a small but mighty team, and partner with leadership to drive improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the monthly close process across multiple retail entities
- Manage and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
- Drive process improvements in a fast-moving environment
- Collaborate with FP&A, assist with budgets forecasts, operations, and executive leadership
- Play a key role in system implementations and scaling accounting infrastructure
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- 5–8+ years of accounting experience, with retail or multi-entity experience a big plus
- Strong technical foundation in GL accounting and financial reporting
- Experience managing or mentoring a team
- Love for fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a natural leader
- CPA a plus but not required
Salary up to $95K
